Pedro Esteves

Pedro Esteves is an actor, director, and screenwriter. He is best known for his work as a writer at Porta dos Fundos, where he spent eight years writing hundreds of comedy sketches and web series that have accumulated over 600 million views. Following the channel’s expansion into Mexico in 2019, he also supervised scripts and led the creative team for its Spanish-language division.

In addition to his work at Porta dos Fundos, Pedro has written advertising campaigns for major brands including iFood, Santander, Ipiranga, Piraquê, Antarctica, and Oi Fibra, among many others.

In 2022, he created and wrote Harina, his first original streaming series for Amazon Prime Video Mexico. Across two successful seasons, Harina became the second most-watched series on Amazon Prime Video in Mexico and reached the Top 5 in multiple Latin American countries, while also ranking in the Top 10 in the United States.

In 2025, Pedro released the short film O Experimento, which he wrote, directed, and starred in. The film began its international festival run, marking a new chapter in his career as a filmmaker.

He has also written two feature films in Mexico, Las Reinas Magas and El Reencuentro, both currently in pre-production.

For 2026, Pedro is preparing the release of a second short film and an original vertical drama series, once again serving as writer and director.
